DIY Chore Chart

A trip to the dollar store and I made this chore chart for my toddler!

1. I took a dry erase calendar and cut off 2 columns.
2. Use permanent marker and draw pictures of the chores.
3. Put clothes pins on all chores.
4. When they complete the item, remove the clothes pin. We put ours in a little old snack box.
5. At days end, if all chores are completed, Olivia gets a coin for her piggy bank.

Super easy and great for teaching responsibility. O loves it and does it through out the day :)

Modern Rustic Kitchen Decor

Lately, I've been wanting a change. Being a stay at home mom means the same atmosphere every day and sometimes it gets very mundane. So when I was in the target dollar section and saw the small blank sign plank and vine I jumped on the opportunity! A quick project on my cricut, staple gun and hot glue...BAM! This beauty was born! A little reorganization of some items I already had made/had, I'm really pleased with the results! Bonus, it only cost me $4!!!

How to view the Eclipse on the Cheap

I made this so we could view the August 21 dollar eclipse. I don't know about you but I'm all about re-use and saving the moola. So nasa posted about a cereal box viewer so that is exactly what I did! It worked beautifully though my 2 year old didn't care haha!

Wine and Color Party

I hosted MOM'S wine and craft night this month. It was so nice to sit back and relax with friends. We always laugh about mommy moments, share advice and support each other all while wineing it up and eating yummies! This time was dessert night with coloring! I made dark chocolate chip brownie cookies and pumpkin dip! They were a huge hit! Comment if you want the recipes!
