Craft Organization

I finally organized my craft basket.  Everything I used was upcycled!

I made one of these for my hot glue gun and for my wood burner!
They are made from Gallon milk jugs!
Kevin got a Vitamin water...so I cut it off at the twist bottom.
Perfect for markers and pens.

This is an old Clorox wipe container.  I removed the top, rolled the fabric/felt in a circle, and puffy painted the FABRIC/FELT on the side.
I got a Starbucks Frappacino, took the label off, and cleaned it.
I puffy painted KNITTING on the side and placed all my knitting needles inside.

Black Bean Quesadillas

Here are the changes I did:
I used 2 T dried minced onion INSTEAD of fresh.
I used 2 t dried cilantro INSTEAD of fresh.
I used 1 t minced garlic INSTEAD of clove.
I used 8 oz canned corn rinsed/drained INSTEAD of frozen.
I used 1 package of Ortega Original Taco seasoning INSTEAD of making my own.
I cooked them on a George Foreman INSTEAD of a skillet.
I served mine with sour cream and medium salsa :0)

Here is the original recipe:

Melted Record Clock

We made this for my Daddy for an Easter Gift!  I was fun to make!

First I heated my oven to 220 F and heated the record for about 5 minutes.  I then put it on top of my plastic veggie tray so that it got its wavy shape.  You have to move fast b/c it hardens quickly AND if you mess up just put it back in the oven and retry :0)

I then used a round sponge with white paint and put dots on the 12-3-6-9 spots.  I orange puffy painted the numbers, line ticks, and around the center of the record.

I had an old clock laying around that I never use so I just took the movement out of it.  The hands of the clock were black so I puffy painted the top of them white.  I also didn't use the second hand at all.  I then hot glued the movement to the back making sure the hand hole is in the center of the record, attached the hands in the front, added a battery, and set the time!

You have to have an easel for this clock b/c the movement sticks out in the back so I made an easel out of some wood pieces I had laying around.

Combined this site and this site and used my own decorating ideas!

PERFECT GUY GIFT IDEA!!!!

Homemade Counters Cleaner

1 Cup Hot Water
1 T Vinegar
1 Heaping T Dawn Dish Soap
40 Drops Essential Oil (can add less, I like mine strong)

Mix all the above into a small squirt bottle.  (I used one from an old method wood cleaner. I'm turning into a recycle nut.)

I use mine on counters, tables, stove top, and sinks. I'm thinking about cutting the Dawn down to 1/2 T to cut down on bubbles :0)

Green Tea Latte

Heat 1C skim milk or soy milk in small saucepan.
Add 1T Matcha and 1T Splenda.
Stir until milk turns light green.
Once green, let it be on med-high heat until it boils.
Strain the tea leaf remnant out of latte.
Put latte in mug and enjoy!
If u want it cold pour hot latte over ice!

I couldn't find just the powdered matcha loose so I had to buy the Republic of Tea brand in tea bags already. So I cut 4 open and emptied the matcha out = 1T.
