DIY Dog Collar Pouch

This was a lot of fun to make!  I can't wait to use it for when we go out walking and on our vacation.  You can put a key in it and your pet's vaccine records.  My Mama bought be remnant piece of Vera Bradley so I was excited to have a stylish dog :0)

Finished Product :0)

Cut a 3" x 8" piece of fabric.

Hem 1/2" on both ends.

Cut a piece of velcro like above.
Make sure there is a little bit of a velcro end sticking out past fabric.

Fold one end towards center about 1".

Fold other end up past first end 1/2".
***REMEMBER the flaps will look opposite the way you sew them.

Sew up both sides in about 1/4" securing fabric and velcro in place.

What it looks like from the side once sewn.

Turn inside right to show print.  Front view.

View from back.

The way it looks when velcro is extended.

Attach to collar. I had to hold Allie's ear up so you could see it! lol

"What on earth are you doing?" -Mr.Darcy
"Getting dressed." -Bridget Jones
"Why are you dancing around in that tent?" -Mr.Darcy
"Because I don't want you to see any of my wobbly bits." -Bridget Jones
"Well now that's a bit pointless, isn't it? Because I happen to have a very high regard for your wobbly bits, in all circumstances." -Mr.Darcy
"Really?" -Bridget Jones
"Absoutely. I think it's high time we had another look." -Mr.Darcy
Quote from Bridget Jones Diary: Edge of Reason
I love this quote! It makes me laugh and smile! All the more reason to love Mr.Darcy!
