Grilling Bonanza Day 3: Balsamic Marinated Chicken

Grilling Bonanza Day 2: Grilled Banana S'mores

Yummy!

Cut 1 banana down the center and place in a foil boat.  Put mini marshmallows and chocolate chips in the middle. Grill for 5 minutes but no hotter than 300 degrees (our grill was completely cool when we started). Enjoy right away!

Rice Warmie

Made us some new warmies last night.

Step 1: sew the in seems of a finger towel so it makes a pillow case.
Step 2: fill half full of long grain rice.
Step 3: sew across the top three times.

All done! These are great for a cold night or cold toes! Stick it in the microwave for 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds.

DIY Shake N Bake Chicken

1 packet dry ranch
3/4 C parmesan cheese
3/4 C Italian bread crumbs
2 Tbsp butter, melted
4 chicken breasts, halved

Mix ranch, parmesan, and Italian bread crumbs in small bowl. Dip chicken in butter and then cover in dry mix.
Bake on 350 for 45 mins.

This was so good I will be using this as a staple in our house!

Baileys and Coffee for breakfast? Yes Please!

1 packet of Splenda
1/2 to 1 ounce of Baileys

Combine and drink hot!

Chicken Slaw

1 package of pre-cut coleslaw mix
1/2 small onion, sliced thin
1/2 C apple cider vinegar
6 Tbsp sugar
4 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 Rotisserie Chicken, chunked

Combine sugar, vinegar, and oil in a small sauce pan. Heat on medium heat stirring constantly until sugar is disolved. Remove from heat and cool completely.  In a bowl, combine coleslaw and onion and then pour vinegar mixture over top and stir to combine. Add chicken.  Refrigerate at least two hours before serving, stirring half way.

Microwave Baked Apples

2 apples, peeled cored and each cut up in 16 pieces
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp flour
2 Splenda packets
2 Tbsp water
1 Ziploc bag

Combine all in bag, zip closed, shake to cover apples.

Open zip one inch to vent. Microwave for 4 minutes.

Enjoy easy hot yummy baked apples :0)

This is a Rachael Ray recipe however she uses tilapia...I hate tilapia so I used orange roughy! This sure was yummy! I served it with steamed broccoli.
